Some guardians protect homes, not herds

Not every livestock guardian dog is suited for the field — some are happiest by your side. These rescued Great Pyrenees and LGD breeds have gentle temperaments and thrive as loving family companions.

Each dog is health-checked, vaccinated, and spayed/neutered. Some are currently in foster homes, so while they may not have been temperament tested by our staff, their foster families provide valuable insights about their behavior in home settings.

By adopting, you’re saving a life and helping us continue our mission to protect both dogs and livestock through responsible placement.

Companion Guardian

Bixby

4 months old - Male, Great Pyrenees Mix

Bixby’s Journey

Bixby is a Great Pyrenees mix puppy with a calm, thoughtful nature. While his sister dives into every adventure, Bixby prefers to pause, observe, and take things in at his own pace. Once he feels comfortable, his sweet, loyal personality shines through.

He is an ideal match for someone who appreciates a gentle, steady companion with a soft heart and a patient spirit. Bixby may start slow, but he forms deep bonds and brings a peaceful presence wherever he goes.
